    I find it a little odd that you wrote an entire article about supplements and didn’t mention fish oil, vitamin D. I’d give up antioxidant supplements way before I gave up fish oil or vitamin D. It seems like you may have a little bit of an antioxidant bias.

      We are simply trying to answer the question at hand. We aren’t making specific recommendations in regards to the exact supplements that a reader should be taking in this article. Many multi-vitamins include Fish Oil and Vitamin D.

    I think supplements are essential. Unfortunately, in today’s society it’s hard to get all of your required vitamins and minerals in the food that’s out there. Even if you’re eating healthy, balanced food, you won’t tick off all the nutrients that are required to keep your body happy and healthy. By taking supplements (or going the protein shake route) you can help meet those requirements in a safe and easy way.

      Thanks for your comment. We definitely agree. I have a protein shake or bar every day to get the extra nutrients that I’m not getting from my diet. It’s an easy way to get what I need!
