Have you seen “Inception,” the new thriller that stars Leonardo DiCaprio? If not, it might be worth a few bucks to figure out what all the fuss is about. But more importantly, Leonardo reveals the best way to lose weight… Inception.
What is inception? It’s the ability to go to the beginning of an idea and change it. In the movie, by changing an event in someone’s memory, Leonardo’s character is able to change the way people think—and eventually, their actions.
The best way to lose weight isn’t much different. You have to deal with the idea or ideas that got you to the weight you are at. You can’t physically go back and change the memory or experience that created the idea, but you can work on overcoming it and creating new positive thoughts.
Changing the way you think about nutrition and exercise will change the way you behave around food and will increase your desire to exercise. Both play an important part in the whole “calories in, calories out” equation that drives weight loss.
The mind is a powerful thing and has the ability to connect experiences in our lives with different feelings and emotions. Sometimes the results can be positive and sometimes they can be negative. We aren’t helpless in creating these connections or having control over their effects. And we don’t want Leonardo jumping into our subconscious mind to clean things up!
Instead, we can address our subconscious through hypnosis and start fighting to take back control of our conscious lives. Hypnosis for weight loss has gained recognition for its ability to not only help you get to your ideal shape, but to keep you there. The reason it’s so successful is that you start in the right place: the mind. Changing your mind truly is the best way to lose weight and keep it off.
