We blame the government for letting us waste $35 billion a year on weight loss products that aren’t FDA-approved and do nothing but give us the jitters. But let’s be honest: we knew they wouldn’t work. Perhaps we want to feel like we’re taking steps to change our nutrition approach, but we are avoiding a bigger issue. [...]

I agree with the sense of camaraderie that is felt. I've ran a couple 5Ks and my dad runs longer distances and every time we both make friends and love to hear complete strangers cheering for us! I agree with you, you really do expect the "mean girls" to come out when it's really not even close to what happens.

Congrats on the 5K Ryan! That really is a great accomplishment!

Congrats on running your first 5k Ryan!!! You have had many exciting first's on your journey to health and well being!! I am so proud of you, and cheering for you on your continued success! My name is Tammy Garner and I am the one who wrote and recorded the Hypnosis CD's for the Ideal Shape program. So I understand the Sub-Conscious mind and how it works and how it can mess with us sometimes! I love when you started having all the doubts and "what if" moments that you turned and faced your fears.. and kept going no matter what!!! Way to go... you are an inspiration to so many!!!
