12 WEEK SHAPE UP CHALLENGE
AskFitnessCoach.com is proud to announce the release of our 12 Week Shape Up Challenge. The 12 Week Shape Up Challenge is a full body exercise program developed by AskFitnessCoach.com creator, Skyler Meine, and staff member Chris Abney to help the fitness novice to the fitness pro, get in shape and feel great.
This program provides a full body exercise program for people who don’t have the time to spend hours at the gym every day. All the workouts are designed to be done in the comfort of your own home while only using dumbbells,a set of elastic resistance bands, and a physioball.
Each week during the 12 weeks a new series of workouts will be delivered directly to your inbox along with an article covering a nutritional topic to keep you focused on improving your diet. These dietary changes will maximize your results and support long-term healthy habits.
The workouts each week will consist of the following:
- Warm up and Active Stretch- These exercises will prepare your body to move correctly during exercise and will improve your flexibility. We recommend that you do these exercises every day before your workout.
- Core Workout- These exercises focus on strengthening and tightening all the muscles in your midsection including your back, abdominals and glutes. We recommend that you do these exercises at least 3 times a week, but if you have the time you can do these every day for best results.
- Calorie Cyclone Workout- The exercises in these workouts will be with weights or elastic bands to improve strength and increase lean muscle tissue. These workouts are only to be done 3 days a week on non-consecutive days.
- Metabolic Circuits- These workouts are high intensity interval workouts that will get your heart rate up and get you burning calories right away. We recommend that you do these workouts 3 days a week on the days you are not doing your Calorie Cyclone Workouts.
